Today (15.07.21) the terrible and sad news reached us that Philip Schnekenburger passed away after a year-long battle with sickness.
Philip was the captain of our men’s team, over the years he has been coach of several youth teams, former board member of the club, and he was member of the club’s technical committee. Having been part of our club for well over ten years, Philip stood for all that is good in our club and basketball as a sport. Charismatic, caring, open, positive, supportive and enthusiastic are only a few of the many positive words that come to mind when thinking of Philip.
Philip was a dear friend to many, and he will be sorely missed.
Following a message from Camilla, there have been several people wanting to make a contribution to the club. The generosity has swept us off our feet, and we will ensure that any money contributed in Philip’s name will go towards a worthy project that will help more children play basketball.

Our hearts and minds are with Philip’s family.
